The New NY Bridge project team is seeking your input to better understand how the community will utilize the new Shared-Use Path. The survey closes on Sunday, July 9.
The New NY Bridge project's electrical network is coming to life. Electricians and systems specialists with Tappan Zee Constructors have begun testing all the electronic systems across the 3.1-mile westbound crossing, which will open to traffic later this year.
The new twin-span bridge will have eight general traffic lanes-four in each direction. Space will also be provided for disabled vehicles, emergency responders and bus rapid transit. There will also be a shared-use path for bicycles and pedestrians.
